Ultrasound Scans
Ultrasound imaging is a valuable tool for assessing finger injuries in rock climbers.
By utilizing high-frequency sound waves to create detailed images of the soft tissues in the fingers, we can accurately diagnose issues such as pulley tears, tenosynovitis, or joint inflammation. This non-invasive technique allows for early and accurate detection of injuries, aiding in prompt treatment and rehabilitation plans tailored to the specific needs of the individual.
After the ultrasound is complete, I will provide you with digital copies of the images taken during the procedure. This way, you can keep them for your records, share them with your healthcare provider as needed, or have comparisons if we take future images.
