Simple Leg Workout for Climbers

Hooper's Beta Ep. 8

Note:

This is one of our early videos, before we started writing in-depth show notes to accompany each one. As we get this website dialed in we’ll be adding references to research for videos like this that don’t yet have any.

Description:

I know, I know, this video is about legs, but I wanted to go over a few simple leg exercises that we can do to actually HELP with our climbing, without adding too much weight we have to pull up the wall. We demonstrate a basic hamstring strengthening exercise for cave, and some single leg balance and strength training for slab and those single leg squats up the wall.

Disclaimer:

As always, exercises are to be performed assuming your own risk and should not be done if you feel you are at risk for injury. See a medical professional if you have concerns before starting new exercises.
